According to officials, single-window enquiries on the website, seamless
information, and the distribution of all property-related and ownership
paperwork to buyers have helped to build customer confidence and trust in the
DDA.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) sold over 1,100 units in four
hours on the first day of booking for its 'Sasta Ghar' and 'Madhyam Vargiya'
Housing programs 2024, according to officials familiar with the situation.
These flats are located in the national capital's Jasola, Narela,
Rohini, and Ramgarh Colony regions. All 41 MIG (middle-income group) flats in
Jasola were also sold on Tuesday.
All of these flats are being allocated on a 'First Come, First Serve'
basis under the DDA's housing initiatives.
According to officials, more than 450 flats in Rohini have been sold,
including 100 in Ramgarh Colony and 41 in Jasola. Similarly, around 350 flats
were sold in Narela.
Officials stated that the Rithala-Narela-Kundli section of the Delhi
Metro has piqued buyers' interest in Narela. They stated that single-window
enquiries on the website, seamless information, and handing over all
property-related and ownership paperwork to buyers had contributed to
developing customers' confidence and trust in the DDA.
The DDA is offering approximately 40,000 units in three independent
housing schemes that cater to buyers in different categories, including the
lower incomer group (LIG) and the economically weaker portion.
DDA's 'Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024' addresses affordable housing
needs. This initiative allots LIG and EWS flats at subsidised prices in Ramgarh
Colony (northeast Delhi), Siraspur (northwest), Loknayakpuram (west), Rohini
(west), and Narela (north) on a 'first come, first served' basis. This program
offers approximately 34,000 units, with prices starting around Rs 11.5 lakh.
