Due to Juhu's central location and close proximity to Goregaon, Khar, Bandra, and Andheri—the locations of the majority of Bollywood studios—stars, producers, and directors prefer to call it home.

Local brokers claim that apartments in the vicinity range in price from ₹60,000 to ₹1 lakh per square foot.

Here are five Bollywood celebrities who live in or own real estate in Juhu.

1. Varun Dhawan

For ₹86.92 crore, Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dhawan, purchased two apartments in the Juhu neighborhood. They also purchased a second residence with his mother, Karuna David Dhawan. The documentation that SquareYards was able to get show that the two residences are more than 10,000 square feet in size.

The two apartments in the Twenty building in Juhu, which is being built by D'Decor Exports Pvt Ltd, were acquired by the Dhawan family.

2. Amitabh Bachchan

The home in Juhu known as Prateeksha is owned by Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan. Throughout 2024, Bachchan's family made headlines for their more than ₹100 crore real estate investment.

According to property records that Zapkey was able to uncover, Prateeksha gained notoriety in November 2023 when Bachchan gave his daughter Shweta Nanda the bungalow.

The property is spread into two plots, each of which is 890.47 square meters and 674 square meters. On November 8, 2023, a gift deed for the property was signed. According to the gift deed documentation, ₹50.65 lakh in stamp duty was paid for the transaction.

3. Ajay Devgn and Kajol

Bollywood actors Kajol and Ajay Devgn also call Mumbai's Juhu neighborhood home. According to data discovered by IndexpTap.com, Kajol made headlines in April 2023 when she paid almost ₹16 crore for an apartment in the Juhu region.

It revealed that the property includes four designated parking spaces and a carpeted area of 2,493 square feet. The sale deed was registered on April 13, 2023, for the Juhu Acropolis building in Vile Parle West, Mumbai.

4. Shahid Kapoor

A home in Mumbai's Juhu neighborhood is also owned by Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his spouse, Mira Kapoor. The Bollywood celebrity made headlines in May 2024 for spending almost ₹60 crore for a luxurious seaside property in the Oberoi 360 West building in Mumbai's Worli neighborhood, according to registration paperwork that IndexTap.com was able to access. In November of last year, the actor rented out the residence for ₹20 lakh a month.

5. Kartik Aaryan

In 2023, Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan made headlines when he paid ₹17.50 crore for a 1,916 square foot property in Juhu's Presidency Co-operative Housing.
