Jennifer Lopez's New York City penthouse sale came only days after Ben Affleck
purchased a $20 million home in Los Angeles.
Since allegations of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's alleged impending divorce surfaced, the Bennifer 2.0 real estate shuffle frenzy has been far too real.
Although the couple is still
dealing with marital issues, Lopez has finally moved on from one area of her
history. According to city property documents published on Monday, the
"Marry Me" singer recently sold her Madison Park penthouse in New
York City for $23 million. According to The New York Post, the ultimate sale
occurred seven years after the singer first listed it for sale. The news of
JLo's duplex sale comes just days after her husband purchased a new $20 million
Los Angeles home after they appeared to be living apart since May.
Reports of their real estate
transactions have fuelled suspicion about their marital status. However, the
"Gigli" co-stars have not publicly responded to any of the different
reports about them that have circulated online.
Earlier this month, a source
informed Us Weekly that Bennifer was in a "rush to sell" their
combined 12-bedroom Beverly Hills property. "Ben especially wants to
finish the house. "He was never happy there," according to the
outlet.
