Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has brought a plot to The Sarayu, a seven-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD or Project K, will feature Bachchan in his upcoming film. The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), a developer located in Mumbai, is the one behind the enclave. Bachchan paid approximately Rs 14.50 crore for the roughly 10,000 square foot land, according to Hindustan Times, which cited real estate sector sources with knowledge of the transaction.

The actor has invested in the planned development of "The Sarayu," which in collaboration with Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, will also have a five-star palace hotel. The article also stated that the project is anticipated to be finished by March 2028.

The project is situated thirty minutes from the Ayodhya International Airport and fifteen minutes from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The Sarayu spans approximately 51 acres and will be publicly opened on January 22, the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

Prayagraj, the birthplace of Bachchan, is four hours' drive from Ayodhya on NH-330.

Ayodhya's ageless spirituality and rich cultural heritage have created an emotional bond that cuts beyond distance."

In a statement obtained by the media, HoABL Chairman Abhinandan Lodha stated, "His investment in our Ayodhya project reflects confidence in the city's economic potential and deep appreciation for its spiritual heritage." In addition, he expressed his excitement at having the megastar become The Sarayu's "first citizen" and added that Amitabh Bachchan's involvement will make the project "a symbol of Ayodhya's global spiritual significance."

Among the famous people invited to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22 is Amitabh Bachchan. In addition to Bachchan, the list of invited celebs includes Rajinikanth, Sunil Lahri, Anupam Kher, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Ram Charan, Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhalia, and Kangana Ranaut.
